An Introduction to Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising
Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising is the latest installment of Granblue Fantasy: Versus, a fighting game series based on the Granblue Fantasy universe. In this iteration, Cygames has carried over the easy-to-play game system from the previous entry and upgraded various elements to make GBVSR the definitive fighting game that gives everyone the opportunity to experience the thrill of strategic battles.
GBVSR features a variety of modes for players to enjoy, including an expansive Story Mode where they can learn the ropes while engaging in the story of GBVSR, an Arcade Mode that pits them against increasingly difficult opponents, and a Training Mode packed with handy features to help them improve. In addition to these modes, players can take a break from the action and spend time in the Figure Studio, creating their own intricate scenes using in-game characters and backgrounds.
The game also introduces an upgraded online lobby, expanding the hub of battles and communication from the deck of the Grandcypher to an entire island. There’s also an exciting new party game mode, Grand Bruise Legends! (Grand Bruise!), where up to 30 players can participate in an assortment of battle royale-style mini-games while controlling adorable avatars of GBVSR’s many beloved characters.
GBVSR Edition Details
GBVSR is available in three different editions: Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Free Edition. With the Standard Edition, players can enjoy GBVSR and all its modes in their entirety. The Deluxe Edition, which includes Deluxe Character Pass 1 and a trove of other exclusive content, is also available for those looking to get the ultimate GBVSR experience.
The Free Edition allows players to engage in online battles with a rotating cast of four characters from the main roster and participate in Grand Bruise! party games for free.
